Current Ministry

Jesus Helper's Ministries in Uganda is currently fundraising for:

  • Support of the young people in Uganda listed below, who are in school, learning a trade, or working

  • Progressing towards Our Future Vision

Grace is a 22 year old young lady who is currently attending YMCA business college, studying in the field of hospitality/catering.  Grace has a vibrant love of the Lord and loves to sing in her church.

Jamal is a very bright 18 year old teenager who loves the Lord and is attending a Christian secondary boarding school.  He loves to swim and is learning to play the keyboard.

Malik is an 18 year old young man who accepted the Lord in July 2018 on Melanie's first trip to Uganda.  He is in secondary school studying his final year before he sits for the Uganda National Examinations Board.

Sylvia is a 22 years old young lady who attends YMCA business college in the field of computer science.  She desires a continuing education to include animation.  Sylvia professes a personal relationship with Jesus.

Jackson is in his 20's, has a love of learning more about computers and is specializing in the field of CGI (Computer Graphic Imaging).  Jackson also is a videographer for his church.

Angel is a young teenage girl who will be sitting for the Primary Leaving Examinations to graduate primary school this year.  She is full of life and laughter, and loves helping her mom caring for her two younger siblings.

Patience is a beautiful young 3rd grader with a smile that radiates her love of Jesus.  She lives with her two younger siblings and mom and dad who are struggling to make ends meet.

Anthony is a working adult in hospitality who is requesting help with acquiring a bicycle, lock, and helmet to simplify his  transportation to work.
